UGC NET December 2024 Exam Begins: Shift Timings, Pattern, and Key Details
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024 January 3 shift 1 exam at 9:30 am. The NTA UGC NET exam is being conducted in two shifts – shift 1 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. The test will be conducted in computer based test (CBT) mode.

The UGC NET exam 2024 is taken for 85 subjects in more than one centre in India. Candidates can now download the admit card for the UGC NET from the official site, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The examinee has to carry a UGC NET December 2024 admit card while entering the hall along with their photo ID proof.
The UGC NET 2024 exam was conducted on over two papers. Paper 1 has 50 questions with a weightage of two marks for each question. Paper 2 has 100 questions with two marks weightage to each question. The test duration will be three hours. Candidates will be rewarded with two marks for every correct answer, and there will be no negative marking for the wrong answers.
